flynas Celebrates World Arabic Language Day
Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – December 18, 2024: flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, celebrated World Arabic Language Day with its travelling guests at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The celebration was held in the presence of the founder of the World Arabic Language Day celebration and former Saudi delegate to UNESCO, Dr. Ziad Aldrees, and representatives from flynas and Riyadh Airports Company, which operates the King Khalid International Airport. Marking the 2024 edition of World Arabic Language Day, a mural was set up for signing and writing words of pride for travellers in the Arabic language. Also, it included the most prominent words and terms in the aviation industry in the Arabic language. Moreover, a cultural competition on the Arabic language was organized, and gifts were distributed. On this occasion, Dr. Ziad Aldrees said: “flynas is a pure and beautiful Arabic name. While we are used to airlines not caring about the Arabic language, I am pleased to participate with flynas in this distinguished initiative to celebrate the Arabic language for the year 1446 AH - 2024.” World Arabic Language Day is observed annually on December 18, the day in 1973 when the UN General Assembly approved Arabic as an official UN language.
