François Bouteiller François Bouteiller, Chief Executive Officer of nasair
Mr François Bouteiller is the Chief Executive Officer of nasair, the Saudi Low Cost Carrier based in Riyadh. In the past 25 years, he’s gained experience in schedule, charter and corporate aviation both on management and instructor pilot roles.
He began in VIP operations on DC-9 and LearJet based in Singapore before he was involved into special missions for the Red Crescent during the first Gulf War and the United Nations (UN) in Afghanistan.
In 1996 he co-founded and launched SwissWorld, a long-haul schedule airline based in Geneva operating B767 to serve mainly New York. He has spent over 5 years in the Swissair Group on MD-80 and Avro fleets (Swiss) as pilot and dealing with special projects. In 2003, he co-founded and launched Flybaboo, a regional airline operating fleets of E190 and Dash 8-Q400, serving as COO, co-CEO and instructor pilot.
Alumni of ENSR, Mr François Bouteiller studied commercial and economics at Lausanne University (HEC) and in 2009, completed PED, an MBA program at IMD Lausanne. Born in Canada, he holds as well Swiss and French nationalities.
Marco Ostini Marco Ostini, Chief Commercial Officer
Marco Ostini, a pioneer of European regional aviation, is an expert in development strategies.
Marco started his career at Swiss Air in Zurich, becoming Vice-President Ground Operations of Crossair in 1984 where he had a leading role in the exponential development of this successful regional airline. From 1988 to 2000, he was Vice-President and General Manager of Crossair for Southern Europe.
Since 2001, Marco has co-founded, invested seed capital and supported the development of several start-ups in Switzerland, Austria and Italy not only in aviation but also in various other fields such as transportation, hospitality and tourism. He was also a senior member of the management team of Darwin Airline, a Swiss regional airline based in Lugano.
Appointed Chief Commercial Officer of nasair in Saudi Arabia in 2012, Marco is now transferring his knowledge, energy and creativity to his team.
Marco believes that there can be no greater professional satisfaction than to shape the success of your company by motivating your staff.
Wan Hasmar Wan Hasmar, Chief Operating Officer
My career started in 1989 as a License Engineer in Malaysian Airlines and have experience ranging from procurement, aircraft leasing and purchasing and as a production inspector overseeing production of B747, B777, B737 and A330’s.
Early 1996, I moved to AirAsia Malaysia as Technical Director and part of original team who started and expanded AirAsia including the transition to its 150 original orders of A320’s. I was later promoted to Executive VP of Operations, responsible for Engineering, Flight Operations, Safety and Quality and also Ground Operations Department.
In 2008 I joined Mandala Airlines, an Indonesian and Tiger Airways Singapore Joint Venture company as Technical Director initially and later became their COO.
Currently as COO of Flynas, I hope to impart all my knowledge to assist the growth of this company. I have 23 years of Aviation experience including 11 of those years in Airline Operations Administration.
Turki Abdullah AL Jawini Turki Abdullah AL Jawini, Deputy CCO
Mr. Turki Abdullah Al Jawini holds a bachelor’s degree in CIS from Clarion University, PA and a Diploma in Financial Planning from the Institute of Banking in Riyadh.
This, along with a mixture of career experiences ranging from various industries such as Media, Banking and Investment makes Mr. Turki an ambassador of diverse business entities.
His tenure at nasair began as Deputy Director Ground Operation Service, where he raised the level of customer satisfaction.
Mr. Turki now oversees the international sales force and key account managers for an operation that serves markets reaching through the Middle East, North Africa and into South Asia.
Abdullah Al-Ghanim Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Abdullah Al Ghanim graduated in 1993 as a Computer Engineer from The College of Computer & Information Technology at K.S.U.
He later joined SABB IT department in 1994 as a project leader for ATM systems, and was assigned as an IT Development Manager in 2001.
During that time he was in charge of heading a team responsible for all mission critical systems of the bank, such as the ATM system, Call Center, Internet Banking, B2B, SADAD, credit card system, Website and Intranet.

Naiem Al-Shabanah Naiem Al-Shabanah, Executive Director, Group Human Resources & Admin
A graduate of King Saud University in 1990 (Bachelor in Psychology), Naiem has attended several seminars, workshops, and specialized training courses in Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior both inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Abu Abdul Aziz brings us intensive managerial and organizational experience extending to more than 17 years as a - Consultant at HSBC and its in-Kingdom’s arm, SAAB Bank.


Ahmed S. Sultan Ahmed S. Sultan, Director – Bilateral Agreement & Strategic Alliances
Ahmed Sultan, an initiative driven management executive, results oriented with Over (18) eighteen years of experience in airline industry having extensive knowledge in formulating company vision, strategic alliances, customer services, ground operation, charter operation and long term strategy with strong leadership, inter-personal and time management skills.
During his tenure in the aviation, he has been exposed to numerous trainings and affiliations from major international aviation business houses such as IATA, which includes IOSA training. He has been a speaker at various conferences on air transport.
Ahmed Sultan was a key player in various important management decisions such as implementation of ISO9001:2000, organizational restructuring, charting out merger plans with his former company.
He was working as a Director of Ground Operations, then on February 2009 the management of National Air Services (NAS) tasked him with a new and vital position as the Director for Bilateral Agreement & Strategic Alliances.
Stefano Silveri Stefano Silveri, Director Ground Operation
Stefano Silveri is the Ground Operations Director of nasair since October 2012. He’s consolidated a wide experience in the Aviation industry, representing an international Airline for more than 20 years as General and Commercial Manager. He has long and solid career in Sales and Marketing, Ground Operations, Cargo and Logistics mainly in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
From 2000 to 2004, Stefano was the General Manager for Alitalia in Central and South Africa, then for South America, based in Buenos Aires; from 2005 till 2007 he held various positions in the Cargo Business as a Product / Project Manager & Team Leader, while till 2009 was the Intercontinental, Middle East & Africa Coordination Manager – Ground Operations Division. Since 2010 he’s been engaged in various projects as Business Consultant.
Holding a Degree in ‘Management of International Relations’ at LUISS University in Rome, Stefano is a Board Member of ISIPM (the Italian Institute for Project Management), responsible for international Project Management events development.
Certified Project Manager 'PRINCE2 Foundation' since 2009.
Rachel Start Rachel Start, Director Product & Services
Rachel joined the airline industry in 1999 with Go, part of British Airways, responsible for developing an ancillary revenue strategy, delivering the first car rental quotes on a flight booking engine in 2000.
Moving to easyJet in 2002, Rachel managed projects to package car rental and travel cover with easyJet flights, increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
A member of the start-up team for Sama in KSA from 2006, Rachel’s expertise across all commercial aspects of an airline were utilized, managing 3 call centres and e-commerce activities, contracting the first travel cover, car rental and hotel partnerships for a KSA airline and implementing customer options such as online seat selection. Rachel is particularly proud of the achievements of Saudi female staff she recruited and developed, with many of her team now employed in management positions.
Joining nasair in 2010 as Director of Products and Services, she works with colleagues across all departments to deliver a constantly improving range of options to our valued customers.
Fouad Diouman Fouad Diouman, Director of Network Management
Fouad Diouman is Director of Network Management. He started his career as Management Consultant at PwC. He moved to aviation, as Commercial & Marketing Manager for the Airports of Mauritius - also in charge of Change Management there, during privatisation.
He has worked as Special Projects Manager at easyJet, involved in the post-merger integration after the acquisition of Go, Network Planning, the set up of new bases, strategic review and also the quick turnaround process.
During this time, the easyJet fleet increased from 30 aircraft to 130. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at the Aerospace MBA of Toulouse Business School, France, facilitating workshops in Low Cost Carriers and Managing Strategic Change.
Fouad holds an MSc Mngt (Finance) from the Toulouse Business School and an MBA (Strategy) from Cranfield, UK.
Akram Husain Akram Husain, Director Interactive Marketing
Akram Husain Head the social media & digital marketing function for nasair since 2012, actively involved in developing and executing the digital marketing & social media strategy. Building Agile teams with a day today learning environment is his core specialty in executing & delivering successful business outcomes.
His team achieved 1 million plus Facebook fans for nasair while at the same time nasair becomes one of the best engaged Airlines in MENA region on Facebook & one of the top brand in KSA. During this Social Media Journey nasair achieved 4 awards during 2012.
His past experience includes, setting up the digital presence for one of the best University in KSA, He also worked as website consultant for many Profit & not for Profits entities.
Akram hold a MBA degree. He is quiet active in community services. He had done three TEDx events in Riyadh (TEDxNajd, TEDxAlmanahij, TEDxAlfaisalU).
